Weeks ago, Nigerian disc jockey DJ Cuppy announced that she is working on her debut EP, Original Copy
Cuppy who is the energetic daughter of billionaire, Femi Otedola, had the name of the project chosen by her fans in a Twitter poll after it got the highest number of votes.

At the time, she explained that she chose it based on its popularity among her fans and also in keeping with her ‘oxymoron theme’.

Final results! Over 9,000 of you voted… #OriginalCopy will be the official name of me debut EP to keep in line.

Yesterday, Cuppy took to her Instagram story to thank music sensation Teni for her support when she (Cuppy) was working on Original Cuppy.

According to Cuppy, she received words of encouragement from Teni who revealed that she also had challenges while working on her first project.

The 27-year-old wrote:

Just when I was giving up… Teni called me with the encouragement I needed. This superstar literally sat on the phone with me and heard me out.

“She then told me she’s been through the same thing when she was working on her first project. People didn’t believe in her. I’m not alone.”

In 2019, Cuppy took to Twitter to lament that a majority of Nigerians hate her.

“80% of Nigerian people don’t like me,” she tweeted. “Good thing we have a large pupolation!”.

She ended with a laughing emoji.

The entertainer has constantly received backlash from some quarters especially when she releases new songs. Many bash her for lacking talent and only being famous thanks to her father’s wealth.

International Police (INTERPOL) Nigeria and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has confirmed the arrest of Raymond Igbalode a.k.a. Hushpuppi in Dubai.

Rumor of Hushpuppi arrest first hit the internet in the early hours of Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Commissioner of Police (CP) INTERPOL, Garba Umar, has now confirmed his arrest.

In a chat with TheNation, he said: “It is true that Hushpuppi was arrested by the INTERPOL. We are currently working on bringing him to Nigeria to face charges of fraud.

She is a liar, Forbes slams the Youngest of Kardashian-Jenner family for lying to it to earn her billionaire status. The 22-year-old American Reality TV star, Kylie Jenner is no longer a billionaire, Forbes is reporting.

She was named last year by Forbes as “The Youngest Self-Made Billionaire Ever.” Jenner had made millions from her company, Kylie Cosmetics, which she later sold a 51% stake to the beauty company Coty in a deal that valued her company at $1.2 billion.

But Forbes is now reporting that Jenner and her mother, Kris Jenner, inflated their wealth in documents they provided to the publication. “It’s clear that Kylie’s camp has been lying,” Forbes reported.

Among a list of discrepancies, the publication said the Jenners had previously told them Kylie’s cosmetics company had $360 million in sales in 2018, but a Coty presentation showed revenues were actually closer to $125 million that year.

In addition to the adjusted estimates for Kylie Cosmetics’ revenues, Forbes accounted for the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on cosmetics companies, as Kylie still owns part of the company.
