It was gathered that 21 Savage, whose real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, entered the US legally in 2005 but his visa expired in 2005 and has since been in America illegally. He arrived America at the age of 12 where he started working on his musical career.

According to Stannova source, he is currently being nabbed for illegal staying in the country as well as being a felon – he was convicted for drug charges back then in 2014.

According to the legal statement we obtained from his attorney, Dina LaPolt, he said; “We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with authorities to clear up any misunderstanding.”
