The state government had, last week, furnish a demolition notice, which the heroic musician and broadcaster said was politically motivated.
The Demand notice which was spiel to Ayefele read, “Having failed to follow with the earlier stop work/quit/ violation notice (s) issued on your development or as your building is found to be structurally flawed/constitute danger and nuisance to the public and occupiers as well, you are hereby command to desert the site and demolish the building within four working days, if you fails to adhere with the instructions will attracts the government to take immediate effect the removal and initiate legal action against you in accordance with Section 43 of the Nigerian law.”
Retaliating to the Demand notice through his publicist, David Ajiboye, “We don’t see it as a threat; instead we see it as a challenge because the scheme demolition of the music studio is politically motivated,” Yinka Ayefele’s said.
When the state government visited the studio in 2016, he said people pushed him to demolish the building because Ayefele was not in his party.

The structure was approved in June 2008 as a business premise; that is over 10 years ago,” he laments.
Ajiboye added that the organization passed all required tests to rampant the Structure on its current site and wondered why the state government wants to remove the structure.
